Overview
8 hours to explore Downeast Maine. This tour will pick up at your accommodation and spend the day venturing down Rt 1, stopping in Milbridge, our destination Jonesport and Beals Island where you can see what makes this rural part of Maine unique and take in the beauty so few get to see. The tour will include a picnic lunch with local seasonal foods highlighted. Plenty of stops along the way to see the many landscapes of Downeast Maine and visit places so few tourists get to experience in this beautiful part of Maine.
Will pickup at any hotel, campground, or Airbnb within Bar Harbor, MDI, or Trenton. Blue van will stop at main entrance for pickup.

Stop 1
Coastal island scenic lookout. Scan the harbor for intertidal workers and lobsterman hauling their gear.

Stop 2
Mt Desert Narrows Overlook. The Dunbar Store is next to the lookout. Stop in for any souvenirs or snacks.

Stop 3
Oceanside park with views of Bold Coast.

Travel further down the coast to uncover hidden gems and beautiful views.

Visit the Backfield Park for time to explore the shore and take in the views.

Stop 6
Our last stop before heading back to the island will be a stop at this unique visitors center and gift shop.
