Overview
This is a full day private tour taking you from Inverness to the Magical Mystical Isle of Skye where you will get the opportunity to hike at The Fairy Pools and also The Fairy Glen where you will marvel at the scenery that surrounds you. You will also see enroute two of the most iconic Castles in Scotland - Eilean Donan Castle and also Urquhart Castle on the shore of Loch Ness. So many famous Highland attractions in this private tour and your guides are all local Highlanders.

Itinerary
1
Stop 1
Departing Inverness we travel for 20 minutes to Urquhart Castle and we stop at this famous landmark for a photo opportunity only.

Stop 2
Travelling Westward along Loch Ness side we head through Glenmoriston and up through the Kintail Mountains for 1 hour before we reach Eilean Donan Castle which is the most photographed Castle in Scotland. We stop here for 30 minutes for a rest room break and photographs

Stop 3
From Eilean Donan Castle we travel for 1 hour to Sligachan where It is said that if you wash your face in the river here for 7 seconds you will have eternal beauty.

Stop 4
Leaving Sligachan behind we travel 45 minutes to The Fairy Pools and we spend 90 minutes at this famous attraction where supposedly Selkies ( seal like creatures ) shed their aquatic skins and bathe in the pools by moonlight.

Stop 5
From The Fairy Pools to Portree on a good day will take us 45 minutes and in Portree and we stop here for lunch and to give you an opportunity to see the main town on Skye.

Stop 6
From Portree we travel 15 minutes up the West side of the Trotternish Peninsula to visit The Fairy Glen , the landscape here is like from another World - Fairy land.

Stop 7
Leaving The Fairy Glen we head back to Inverness stopping briefly at the Skye Candle visitor Centre in Portree for a rest room break. The Journey back from Portree to Inverness will take 2 hours 15 minutes.
